Touch gives over to the mouths while we wonder if our lips could ever replace our eyelids, switch functions to the eyes if useless to the mute. Forcefully propping open our eyelids, inhibiting our blinking, they still shut our mouths, seal our lips together with cosmetic tape.

Our eyes have no more eyelids, they’ve been replaced with our lips, hiding behind speech as they’ll never listen. Joint visions in the lines of blinds leading more blinds to purpose. Or maybe they’re walking backwards. When asked, answer with your eyes.

Faces thumbed with discerning features to spare, eyes falling into mouths, orphaning the eye sockets because we are seen more than we are seeing. Bodies become mute with blindness in an empty amphitheatre.
