Chioma Ebinama
Grace, 2018

Using imagery reminiscent of Pre-Colombian mythology and her own Ìgbò background Chioma creates her own myths and stories. She is searching for a more authentic self that rejects the cultural hierarchies that have excluded her, and in the same breath acknowledging their far-reaching influence.
