A package arrived in the mail. It was from Steimer’s mom, and avid quilt maker. The box had scrap pieces of muslin that mom thought could be useful to her son. And they were. Steimer sowed the material into canvases, rendering fine surfaces at times transparent, and in other places opaque. Thanks mom.
