Joe Brittain
Blindness

Brittain works alongside his materials and guides them to enunciate their own inherent, meaning-laden properties. Lacking a standard operating procedure or prioritized material, the results of his practice are behavioral situations in which the viewer draws connections between the elements and together they performs the function of a poet, each becoming an element of a larger prose.

The work is not about one thing in particular; instead, it makes us feel something, whatever that may be is an open-ended question.
