Invited to participate in a Soho pop up multidisciplinary project, in line with his process becoming more public in those years, Justin Orvis Steimer decided to be present. He sat in the window of the gallery for the two-week duration of the exhibition and made himself available to visitors while he drew on an ostrich egg gifted to him by yours truly Catinca Tabacaru. The result is a drawing on a 3-dimentional object, which offers one the physical incarnation of his time in that window – his thoughts, conversations, and encounters.
