Bothwell Fels’s MFA marked a significant turn in her output. She left behind triangles to make site-intruding installations that often embed into existing architecture with sculptural outcrops that sit somewhere between folklore and sci-fi, an exploration of the seams between the real and the imagined and how one becomes the other.
