Terrence Musekiwa
seeing and seeing yourself, 2016

In seeing and seeing yourself, Musekiwa uses a variety of rearview mirrors as metaphors for looking into the spiritual dimension and seeing your true self reflected.

The artist lends power and movement to obsolete materials, both molding and bending to his will, while simultaneously allowing objects to direct the conversations inspired by his works. The mirrors here become a channel to the divine, the metaphysical, while the spring stone incarnates the ancestors who open windows into other realms.
