Zvinyoka Muvhu, 2018

Heavily loaded with elitist history, these golf-clubs-cum-snake sculptures are portrayals of different personalities surviving in a land filled with hope for change. Chinyoka muvhu is an old Shona saying referring to the snakes that lift their heads from beneath the sand in order to decide whether to strike or hide.
