Like most of her major projects, Bothwell Fels arrived in Wisconsin without the slightest idea what she would produce for her solo in the Allen Priebe Art Gallery. She entered the grand space and spent the first day observing its characteristics, materials, and nooks & cranies. Over the space of the following 5 days, Bothwell Fels melted down the gallery. She pulled out the vents and cast dozens of copies that would extend the system all the way to the ceiling. She then proceeded to melt it all away, keeping her activities open as she allowed viewers to came in and out of the gallery as she worked.
